Welcome to the Mendez Athletic Program
Are you looking for something engaging for your child to be involved in? Why not have them join our after-school sports program? During the entire year, students can sign up for a sport they like, and play with their friends. Each sports season lasts six weeks and, the best part, it's free for Mendez students.
We expect students to uphold the three R's: Respectful, Responsible, and Ready. Participants need to maintain a 2.0 GPA. Practices ar typically held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:35-5:00 (*Coaches subject to change practice times and schedules). Teams will have 3-4 scrimmages against other intermediate schools in SAUSD with a final tournament at the end of the six or eight-week season. Online Registration is required before your child can play any spots.
